Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Nexthand when you use our website, apps and services. Please read them. By joining the waitlist, creating an account or using Nexthand, you agree to them.

Effective October 28, 2026

1. The service

Nexthand is a personal AI assistant that runs in the cloud. It can keep notes and lists, run routines, control connected devices, read and draft messages in apps you connect, browse websites for you, and work with files. It asks for your approval before sending, booking, buying or otherwise acting in your name.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the European Economic Area and UK), and old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
  • Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your sign-in methods secure and for activity on your account. Tell us right away at [email protected] if you think someone else has accessed it.
  • One person per account. Don't share or sell accounts.

3. Nexthand acting for you

When you ask Nexthand to do something, you authorize it to act on your behalf within the permissions you've granted. Some things to keep in mind:

  • You approve what goes out. Before an action that leaves your account, such as sending an email or message, booking, buying or posting, Nexthand shows you what it plans to do and waits for your OK. Review it carefully: once you approve, you are responsible for that action as if you'd done it yourself.
  • Payments and purchases made through Nexthand are agreements between you and the seller. We are not a party to them.
  • You can stop it. You can cancel a running task, decline an approval, or take over the browser at any time.

4. Your content

You own what you put into Nexthand (your requests, files and notes) and what Nexthand produces for you. You give us permission to store, process and transmit your content only as needed to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use your content to train AI models.

You are responsible for having the rights to the content you provide and for making sure your use of Nexthand doesn't violate anyone else's rights.

5. Connected apps and websites

When you connect an app (such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive or GitHub) or Nexthand visits a website for you, your use of that app or site is also governed by its own terms. We aren't responsible for third-party services, and they may change or stop working with Nexthand. You can disconnect any app at any time.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Nexthand to:

  • break the law, or help anyone else do so;
  • send spam, harass, threaten, defraud or impersonate anyone;
  • access accounts, systems or data you aren't authorized to use, or get around security, CAPTCHAs or rate limits;
  • scrape or collect other people's personal information without permission;
  • create or spread malware, or attack or overload any service;
  • generate content that exploits children, promotes violence, or violates the usage policies of our AI model providers;
  • reverse engineer, resell or copy Nexthand, or use it to build a competing product.

We may limit, suspend or close accounts that break these rules or put others at risk.

7. AI output

Nexthand uses AI models, which can make mistakes, misunderstand, or produce information that is out of date or wrong. Check important results before relying on them. Nexthand is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial or safety advice, and you should not rely on it for emergencies.

8. Preview and changes

Nexthand is currently in private preview. Features may change, be limited, or be removed, and the service may be interrupted. We may also update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Nexthand after that, the new terms apply.

9. Fees

Nexthand is free during the private preview. If we introduce paid plans, we will show you the price and terms before you are charged, and you can choose whether to subscribe.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using Nexthand at any time and ask us to delete your account and data on our Delete your data page. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we stop offering the service. If we end the service, we'll give you reasonable notice and a chance to get a copy of your data where possible.

11. Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, Nexthand is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. Some places don't allow these exclusions, so some of them may not apply to you.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Nexthand will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and you keep any consumer rights you have by law.

13. General

These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about Nexthand. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don't enforce a term right away, we haven't waived it. You may not transfer these terms without our consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
